Governing Law and Forum
By using this Site, you agree that the Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any dispute between you and MEADELAW regarding the content or use of the Site shall be resolved by arbitration under the Commercial Rules of the American Arbitration Association, with hearings held in the English language in California, United States, and shall not be joined with any dispute that any other person or entity may have with MEADELAW. The parties to any dispute submitted to arbitration shall share the costs equally for arbitration, excluding attorneys' fees either party incurs by participating in arbitration. None of the attorneys listed in this website is certified as an "expert" or "specialist" pursuant to any authority governing the practice of law in any jurisdiction in the US.
Non-Waiver
MEADELAW's failure to insist upon strict enforcement of any provision of this agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right under these Terms of Service.
Entire Agreement.
These Terms of Service shall constitute the entire, integrated Terms of Service. There are no representations, understandings, agreements, or conditions, oral or written, express or implied, that are not included as part of these Terms of Service that have any enforceable effect with respect to any matters arising from or related to these Terms of Service. The Terms of Service published on the Site supersedes all prior representations, understandings, agreements, or conditions, oral or written, express or implied, not herein expressly integrated into these Terms of Service.
Severability.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable, such provision shall be severed, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue to remain enforceable.
Attorneys’ Fees.
Any party enforcing the Terms of Service or any rights or obligations conferred under the Terms of Service shall be entitled to their reasonable costs and attorneys’ fees incurred in connection thereof, upon being the prevailing party in such enforcement, including in actions before arbitration or litigation commences. The prevailing party shall be the party who achieves their objective in enforcement of the Terms of Service against the other party or assertion of rights or obligations conferred by the Terms of Service.
Social Media
MEADELAW does not make any representations or warranties regarding any social media content posted on MEADELAW’s social media pages. MEADELAW reserves the right to remove commentary on its social media pages. We will remove posts that are outside the original intent of the conversation, as well as those that are offensive or illegal. In addition, posts on MEADELAW’s social media pages that drive to an individual's websites or products with the intent of personal gain, or those that disclose confidential information, will be removed. MEADELAW, as the owner of any social medial pages created by MEADELAW, reserves the right to remove any kind of posts or content that violates the Terms of Service.
